Default Will Christine Record on the next FM album?

Will Christine Record on the next FM album?

This could be either as a singer, pianist or singer-songwriter.

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

It just seems reasonable to think so. You had asked me a year ago and I would have told you absolutely not.

Part of me wants to say "Yes"...the pessimistic side of me wants to say "No"...the cynical side of me wants to say "there's not going to BE a "next FMac album"". So, I'm pretty much going to abstain.

We have the same sentiments, friend.

Default How it Might Go Down

Christine records with FM. Mick and a "bevy" of managers insist on a follow up tour. Mick and Co. convene a meeting to discuss a potential tour. Christine makes it clear that she will not tour. Things get heated and John tells Christine that she better leave. Christine announces she is leaving the band for good this time. Stevie feels betrayed and follows Christine outside. A cat fight ensues, police are called. Details of the cat fight are a bit sketchy as to what really happened, but it all becomes great fodder for Mick's next autobiography. Deja vu!

Lindsey walks over to John & tosses a glass of Blue Nun in his face, just for old time's sake.

Not being pessimistic, but there's not a single word by anybody that would suggest this would even be a consideration. I gotta go with no.

At this point, I don't see another Mac album happening unless it was Christine's idea, and she was a full member of the band again. And the odds of that happening are pretty much nil.

I think the party is over for another FM record to be recorded but I hope I'm freaking wrong about it.

I would love to see Christine record with them again.

We are lucky to see her popping out for the upcoming shows which is great.

I'd love to say yes, but I'm going to be realistic and go with option C...

This. I could see any of the above happening. That Chris has already played live with Mick twice this year and will be doing two cameos at Fleetwood Mac shows in the UK already blows my mind, so anything seems possible at this point.

I really hope for a full album with Christine. SYW and EP are no ways for Fleetwood Mac to sign off on.

I don't think that's being realistic. It's a possibility, but so is them recording more music. I guess it depends on how strictly we're defining this poll. Maybe it's not a full album like the last time, but I feel pretty confident they will record more music at some point.

There won't be a "next FM album", so no point in conjuring.

(it is Fleetwood Mac right?)
