Post Vanessa Carlton and Lindsey....

This was released by Vanessa Carlton to her official fan forum...

I'd like to leak some news. My label is gonna kill me, but the fan love overpowers me. Sooooooo, my first single is probably 'White Houses' (it so is) and guess who plays the most amazing acoustic guitar on the track!!... Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac. That's all I can divulge in this top -secret -under - the - rug - non label -informed email. Peace. V

Thoughts? Frankly, I think she can't sing to save her life. She's a fabulous pianist and is a brilliant composer but bleeeeech. I could think of a ton of people i'd rather Lindsey team up with than Vanessa Carlton. BTW, the album is due out in June.

>>>She is that! And she's my age!

Always knew Buckingham liked younger stuff! How did THEY hook up, eh?

When you hear her talk, she sounds just like Stevie used to.

Vanessa knows brilliance when she encounters it!........

Though not my first choice, I see nothing wrong with this. If anything, it might introduce our man to some younger fans. Remember, those Dance-era teenagers are in their 20s now.

If he was looking to work with a young artist, I would rather of had him do something with Michelle Branch even with Stevie in on it as well.

Thumbs up

I get it too.....

Buckingham likes to work with young women. Vanessa has at least ten years on his middle-aged wife.

And at 23, she's nowhere nearly as abrasive as his senior citizen working partner.

For Vanessa, it's the -- ahem - 'mentor factor'.....and more.

4/Buck:

Please cut out the insults and name-calling. It's unnecessary and disrespectful to members of Lindsey's family and the band.
Thanks,
Barbara

I loved Ordinary Day. I know her voice is annoying but now I believe maybe she'll drop the baby voice. I have great hope for a yummy video! Im excited. I just like that he's getting exposure! I hope it's a huge hit.
