the one seems a logical conclusion from the other, though
add to that non-verbal language, like sitting slumped in a chair etcetera...
*groan
*that's a "verbal" non-verbal communication meaning I'm tired too
this discussion Needs a Rest!!!

Have we run out of substantive things to argue about? Is that why we sit here and debate the difference between "needing a rest" and "being tired"? Man, this is just sad - and pathetically funny at the same time!

I know I sure need a rest!

Interpret that however you wish.

Exclamation LMAO!!!

This thread is hilarious!!

We all love to assume, don't we? Maybe they had been rehearsing for awhile, maybe not. Maybe they had been doing other things during the day besides rehearsing, maybe not. What time was it when they were rehearsing? Who knows?

Who cares.

Buckingham just said he couldn't rehearse till 10 -- or 9:30 that night. He said he needed rest. He didn't say the reason why but he said he was tired and was sweet about it.....

It was Nicks that stated "I know you're moving into your new house," and continued with "all this is happening..." but still wanted to rehearse a complete set...She wasn't jealous. She may have just wanted fans to see him explode to this suggestion on camera....but he didn't. He pretty much kept his cool throughout the documentary. Or it was edited that way.
No, I do believe the group is getting along now.

I just don't think Nicks should have suggested a 2 to 2-l/2 set rehearsal when he said he was tired. Don't irritate him when he's been working so hard. It's not like he screws off..... But it's no biggie. They compromised and did, or supposedly rehearsed only a half set....I thought that was nice...It's my favorite scene.

Buckinham's WORLD TURNING vocals sound just as good as his original lead vocals on the first album. I can't wait to get the digitally remastered reissue of FLEETWOOD MAC!

"she want ed him to explode on tv, oh my god, she just wanted them to get organized so they would be ready for the tour. i think the way the two of them handled each other and compromised and said what they needed, and in the end respected each other is totally being overlooked.

Ah, you guys are so easy. I fully expected the reaction. Nuance is lost on a lot of people, I guess.

Evidently, some of you have never said, "Let me get some rest because tomorrow is going to be a long day," even though you weren't tired. So, every night when you go to sleep, you're just dropping with fatigue, right?

A sense of humor was lost on yóu, I guess?
Actually, I think you're looking too much at the nuances and losing perspective.

And yes, I ám dropping with fatigue when I get in bed... (and that's part of epilepsy, you're tired a lot more and a lot quicker than most people.)

Come on, Carne

(horrible english-edit, thanks to Dissention )
