Lindsey Buckingham is a force to be reckoned with. His first-rate GIFT OF SCREWS songs deserve a good home! Compelling eclecticism!
Buckingham's always the risk-taker! There’s so much going on in his compositions…….. The gem GIFT OF SCREWS screams to us party-punk audiences.... TWIST OF FATE has dynamic rhythmic interplay…My boyfriend, my brothers and I think these two tracks are awesome! SOMEONE’S GOTTA CHANGE YOUR MIND is undeniably majestic! WEAR YOU DOWN (Steve’s Riff) I'm gonna knock, knock down your door Babe, you'll never feel it before Yeah, I'm gonna take you around I'm gonna wear you down – (Buckingham) … I grade this an “O!” .........I love it!... DOWN ON RODEO: We never took quite enough chances We never had quite enough time - (Buckingham) Instantly memorable with Buck’s breathtaking guitar magic. COME....Starts out slowly before it evolves into a masterpiece. Concertgoers may expect it to be a snoozer on the onset, instead of a metal marvel. Buckingham's BLEED TO LOVE HER and STEAL YOUR HEART AWAY dual-jewels SHOULD be forces in mainstream radio...... GO INSANE – Magnificent lead vocal and guitar mastery by Buckingham here....again - m-a-s-t-e-r-p-i-e-c-e! |

lindsey is a genius! he constantly reinvents himself!
the “lovemaking scene” in “wear you down” is interactive. i like my men and music – fast Again, Lindsey. AGAIN! “gift of screws” is lindsey punk’d, all right! fiery and unfettered! yeah! his riff in “shuffle riff” rocks!” good vocal! (he always sounds much younger than he is!) his muscular guitar work in “twist of fate” stuns! fffffffffffkng amazing! rock respite, “say goodbye” mesmerizes. lindsey’s voice and guitar are aesthetic here. he has all the desired attributes and musical skills to do real rockers. wonder what’ s next on his agenda?? these demos johnny stew linked us to are first-hand proof of lindsey’s greatness! thank God it wasn’t just "LB cleaning out the vaults."
"Why do you come around so very much/you know it just brings you down it’s just something you can touch---AND--- One of the quiet ones one of the few/ now fall down onto your knees show us all what you can do" - Lindsey Buckingham – Red Rover from Say You Will just another example of how potent and powerful lindsey's songs really are! |
