Talking ISA from GYOW site!!!!!!!!!

I was at the show that is posted on Neil's site.

http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/

For any newbies.

SWEET JEBUS!!!! This is one of the most amazing versions of ISA I've EVER heard!! It sounds like a friggin SYMPHONY!!

I wasn't on the front row that night, but that was the only time I heard ISA on this tour and cried. It shot through me like a lightning bolt.

THANK YOU NEIL for posting this Earls Court show! Hearing it again is just amazing!!

Yes tearstearstears!

now, i cried at every version of ISA I saw this tour, so that's no way of measuring for me , but I agree. It's one of the best I have ever heard. It's just that he sang it more intense in earlier tours, and I understand that he can't do that night after night, but that's the only thing thats a little less compered to earlier versions. This one is absolutely compensating on the instrumental part. Including the very "loose" rythmsection!

and neil? he rocks....

One of the best versions I've ever heard, from a Tusk Tour show in 1980, is linked to at www.fleetwoodmac.de.vu

There's a lot more improvising going on in this one, and some really screaming string bends!

If you dig the improvisation, you've got to hunt down every performance of it from that tour you can find. You definitely won't be disappointed as you uncover versions from New York City, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Cologne, Chicago (by the way, the entire Chicago show is on tape in damn good quality), San Antonio, London, Birmingham & elsewhere.

Exclamation LOL!!

I know, but there are certain versions that hit me harder than others.

I've never heard a bad version of the song.

I downloaded the Chicago Rosemont show and that's an amazing version as well!

The Earls Court one is definitely the best I've heard this tour... It was previously the Reno show, but the playing from the 7 minute mark is just superb.

In comes the cynicist who thinks LB repeated his solos a bit too much last year.

*listens to it*

Friggin' great! Different parts alright. Ok, maybe not quite worthy of a Tusk or a Mirage tour version, but probably as close as you can get to those these days.

I guess it's the tour strain that eventually got to our 54-year-old and affected the playing. Of course in Australia he now has to start all over again.

Well, due to the fact I was AT this particular show and the emotions of being in London makes it more special to me. There's something so awesome about being able to hear a show you went to and go "OMG, I remember that guitar part!"

I was at this show as well, and found it hard to hear some of the guitar parts... I really didn't realise that he was delivering one of the best versions of the song in years. I'm extra pleased I was there now.
