Default To go with Boy George's version of GYOW...

The Cranberries have also covered it. Is this new? I was in Italy this past week and heard it on the radio. It was pretty horrid, I thought. I love GYOW - and I love the Cranberries. But her voice, her affectations doing this song? Bad. Bad. Bad.

Now, I was listening on a car radio, in an open window, noisy car, but it sounded to me like they kept the musical bridge - the guitar and bass - from the original. But there is a God-awful Delores vocal bridge on it. Shudder.

Anyone else heard this?

It was recorded for the Legacy rumours tribute album that came out shortly after The Dance.

I never like someone covering a FM song, but it's one of the least horrid of the GYOW covers, imo.

I don't personally like the Cranberries version ... haha, Irish loyalty flying out the window. But I don't think Dolores O'Riordan's voice suits the song at all.

This acoustic cover is quite good. And it gives extra roots to the folkoriented rocksong it always was.

BTW, even if you don't like her voice: she can drop a vocaltone just like lindsey can. I love that.

Yeah, although it's fleetwood mac, it still is a cover. And worse: it FEELS like a cover.

Thanks for sharing though.

I must say that much of the guitarwork is superb. But that Spinal Tap ending is horrid- as are the vocals throughout, BTW.
