I think Lindsey had to grow into tolerating social situations. I think his type of personality was not comfortable in an environment where he had to fraternize, only because Lindsey is a very insular person. Mick described him as such and on the "Behind the Music" special his own brother said that it took Linds a long time to compromise. He admitted to his own selfishness and, I'm fairly certain, he never denied he had some issues in his past.

He has come a long way and it's commendable. Artists are complex people and Lindsey fits into that through and through.

Well, she said it was a fantasy about LB because of his gorgeousness.. Which, to me there is no doubt- you can definitely tell she was attracted to him.. but it's not mutual in any interaction I've ever seen.

Didn't John say that he and Lindsey were the only ones in the band that didn't have affairs? I think that was the context of that statement.

They've been flirty at times, in tour footage, in commercials for MTV or what have you. Why wouldn't he find Chris attractive? Why wouldn't he hook up with someone who was sexy, fun, talented, smart, and pretty? It was the 70's and everything was free and loose. They were both attractive and certainly available to each other if they wanted to do anything.

But again, this isn't about did they do the deed, but, rather, do you find the idea of it hot, or not?

No, no… I totally agree with you.. But just like any two attractive people in the above situation might hook up.. What I mean is, I just don't see him having any passion towards her in any way that I've been able to visualize. I actually do see it very clearly from her to him. But still, something could have happened in all those years at some point, but I doubt it. I guess I see that as much a possibility as I see Stevie and John having hooked up.

I don't. Because I think I have to see both people as passionate (not just both attractive) for each other for me to find the idea of it hot.

didn't Destiny Rules director said that Lindsey commented on Gwen Stefani being hot, and the two of them bonded over that... guess she was on the cover of some magazine laying around while they were shooting the doc? i could see how she would be his type, easily. plus, Gwen is extremely hot.

i like Christine/Lindsey chemistry, it was always intriguing to me. looking through Mirage tour doc, or those RS sessions in bed, or them doing those Tusks back in the day... there seemed to have been something there.

There again, is the same situation in my mind, but in the reverse. I suspect John may have wanted Stevie… but Stevie, while she may have found John attractive, I don't think she wanted him.

Stevie seemed high as a kite a lot of those times - think that Tusk photoshoot. you can't think about them as behaving rationally with their lifestyle at the time. it probably happened and they don't even remember it. she probably has weeks or months of her life completely whited out.
