Default music trivia

I thought I'd start something where anyone could ask a music trivia question and see who can answer it. I'll start it off.

The backup singers for Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver, later formed a band that had a mega-smash #1 hit. What is the name of the band?

Here's another:

What's the name of the song that was a big hit in the summer of 1980, the author of which has the same last name as a former member of Fleetwood Mac?

Only thing I can think of is: "No Time To Lose" by the Tarney-Spencer Band

But, I think that was 1979, not 1980.

Ah, yeah...Billy's cousin.

Billy also had a hit in 1980 with "Don't Say No"...but, I didn't think you were after ACTUAL former members of Fleetwood Mac.

I got one...might be fairly easy, though.

What famous vocalist sang the background vocals on Sam Cooke's "Bring It On Home To Me"?
