Default Were those mixes popular in your country?

I thought about posting a thread about your favorites 12"/Dub/Jazz Man, etc. versions included in the Tango in the Night deluxe. But frankly, though I kinda like some of those, none is enough to qualify it as a fave.

The 80s was the 12"mixes era. I did enjoyed some of them (Culture Club, Thompson Twins, Debarge), but I feel Fleetwood Mac music didn't fit in that format.

And I don't remember listening any of those Tango mixes on the radio. Do you?

One time in Akron, I heard Big Love remix on the radio. But really never after that.

Hi! Over here, in Argentina, TITN was very very famous at that time, and if I'm not wrong, even more than Rumours or Tusk...
But don't know about remixes. Today you listen the classic songs from that album on the radio, but not the remixes...

True story - as a middle schooler in 1998 at a middle school dance, I was shocked to see the DJ had some of the remixes. I somehow convinced him to play the Seven Wonders extended dub between boy band tracks. The entire gym was like "WTF is this" It felt like a scene from Freaks n Geeks.

Becoming a giant Fleetwood Mac fan in 97/98, as a teenager was so weird. When everyone else was listening to Smash Mouth and Backstreet Boys, I was completely removed in my own little Fleetwood Mac bubble.

The Big Love remix and Little Lies remix were both very popular and heard them on the radio several times. I loved the Little Lies remix so much that I sought out the 12" vinyl remix. The B side was an extended version of Ricky.
I remember looking for the Big Love remix but could not find it since it was off the charts when Little Lies was big. I always loved that keyboard part that was added during the chorus. That made the song so much better IMHO and I would have put it on the album version.
I think there is a Seven Wonders remix. However the track is not bouncy like the others. I always loved Stevie's additional vocals at the end. Those are original studio vocals that were edited into the remix. I love when she says "Tell me lies WHOOOA!"

I had never heard them up until about 20 years ago, when someone posted them here.
