Goodbye, Gustavo. ¡Gracias totales!
Today, Gustavo Cerati, an icon of the latin american rock, died at 55. He suffered a stroke in 2010, and after 4 long years, he said goodbye.
Cerati was -is and will be- one of the most famous musicians and guitar players in South America and Latin America, and his band, Soda Stereo, made a very big success after their first album, released in 1984. After a split in 1997, Gustavo continued with his solo career, and was successful too, but he will be remembered for his work with Soda. His words "Gracias totales" (total thanks) were just one of his signatures which conquered the fans through the years. I'm just 24, but I can say that he was totally an idol and an musical inspiration. RIP Gustavo, gracias totales!!
