she's selling the tour at this point, not 24K Gold. I think it stinks too that she's forced to do songs we've heard a million times but these are the songs the casual fans eat up at concerts so I believe that's the marketing angle here. I firmly believe Stevie would much rather sing a new song but the oldies are better for business. Just my thoughts...

I hear she is doing EO17 as well. YAAAAAWN. Classic or not, it's been done to DEATH! She should have gone "The Dealer," or "Twisted," good uptempo rock songs, "Hard Advice," classic "old style" Stevie Nicks sound or "She Still Loves Him," a beautiful song with a bit of a different style with the Celtic sound to it which could really open her up to a newer fan base. Although the original is so much better than the 1 on 24k Gold. BUT, regardless, sing Mary Had A Little Lamb Stevie and I will be there w/open ears and a happy mind!

If you dislike her and her choices this much, why do you continue to follow this board? Don't get me wrong because I'm not being a jerk wanting to cause a fight, I'm totally serious here. That much negativity over someone who doesn't even know that you exist is not healthy. I realized that for myself a few days ago over all the uproar with Stevie's supposed lack of participation on the next FM album. I quit posting to those threads and reading anything in the Rumours forum. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life and neither do you. Surely, you do realize that Ellen requests the songs that she wants sung? Also, casual fans only relate to those hits. She's there to promote a tour, not to give a private concert to all of the die hard fans. She's going to sing what is requested. It's your choice to watch it or not, but please, stop criticizing everything. This is a place that I visit to catch up on news about Stevie and the band. It should be fun, a place to find other fans and to share in the excitement of a new tour, a new album or whatever is going on. Lately, it's been anything but that, and it makes me terribly sad. I've followed many artists amd I belong to many web boards and forums. I have to say that I've never encountered hatred anywhere else like I do here. I hope this changes soon, because this is a great source of knowledge for fans. It's ok to disagree, but it can be done respectfully.

Got a point there.This goes for all members of the Mac.I know people got their opinions on any of FMs members but its getting carried away here lately with the BS.For seasoned artists like Stevie and others .If they did not change years ago .They are not going to change now.

Honestly, I'm just thrilled she's doing all this! It's been years since her last real solo outings and I think she's really going outside her comfort zone with her ideas for the set list etc... We'll see how it all shakes out but I am always just thankful whenever I can see her and will support her with all she does! Even if she sings Landslide on every tv show in perpetuity

You can't promote a new album very well if you never perform songs from it. I hope she realizes that.
