Cool FM Members Favorite Car

Just by way of something to talk about:
What type of car do you think each member of Fleetwood
Mac drives? Please tell why you think they would drive
that model.

Heart Lindsey's Cars...

Hi witchy...
Jessica told us Lindsey pulled up beside them in a big Gold
colored... Land Rover! He also mentioned a black Mercedes!
Oh,...and he drove his Dad's Buick Skylark...just like me!Sky

OK sky,
Although that was cheating a little. You aren't supposed
to bring in a rookie here! Hahaha.
So how about the others now?

Mick could drive a goggomobile! It'd be just like that Simpsons episode where the really tall guy drives in a small car with his knees near his face.

Hum, Some great choices here. Funny we go from funky to
fabulous, and Lindsey always seems to get the hot car!

I agree they can all afford to buy whatever car they want.
Hey they worked hard for all they've got, they deserve it!

Stange...I can picture Stevie in a VW bug...how weird is that?
It really seems to fit. Good call Brian!

Smile Christine

What about Christine?

I'm sure she drives a very distinguished, very deepblue, very British Rover!

Some of us are on the same wavelength -

I recently bought a lime green VW Beetle - I just LOVE it!!!

Anyway, they also had a limited edition one there that was the prettiest shade of metallic gold with white leather interior. It sounds gaudy, but it really wasn't, it was pretty. I SWEAR the first thing that popped in my head when I saw it was - "This looks like something Stevie would drive! Miss GOLD DUST WOMAN!"
I can totally see her in that little car as well. The whole hippie chick/gypsy thing just seems to fit with a car like that.

She really needs to get her drivers liscense again, though, because unfortunately she doesn't drive anything, and hasn't since the late 70's!

I remember Mick talking about getting two of the New Beetles when they came out about 4 years ago... I think he got a yellow one and a blue one. I guess knowing Mick, I could see him driving a kind of oddball car like that... instead of something extravagent. I bet he'll get one of the new Mini Coopers that just came out too.

Now that you guys mention it, Stevie would be ADORABLE in a New Beetle! I know she likes funky, chic, retro stuff... so that'd be perfect. I think the lime green color would be totally awesome . It'd be a great car for her to start re-learning how to drive in too .

John... hmm... this is hard to say. I see him in something very practical... useful... not extravagent. Perhaps some sort of a sport utility... like an Expedition or a Tahoe . He's gotta have something rugged to carry all his supplies to his boat .

For some reason I always envision chris not driving... but being driven in something like a rolls royce or a jaguar. I could see her driving something like a jag though .

I could def. see Lindsey driving a Land Rover. He seems like a practical, yet stylish guy... and we must remember the wife and babies.

Anyone want to speculate on classics? I bet at least mick has some neat old classic car .

Talking Mick's Classic Cars!!!!

Hi Louie...Louie!!!
MICK has a Collection of Classic Cars!
There is a pix of them all in one!I'll try to
find it...I know he had the VW's...he'd
have to cram in!!! Mick endorsed VW!

My friend has the newer larger version in
the lime green...it sorta' looks the same front
or back wards! More room than the old Beetle!

John would need a Caddie suv to tote' his stuff!

Chris looks like the Saab Deluxe type to me!
I adore the little wipers on the headlights!

Stevie would look good in a Sebring LX Convertible!
Nicely turned out! Her hair could blow in the wind!

If I had little kids like Lindsey & Kristen I would buy
the new Volvo station wagon...reliable & safe!!!
As a second car after Linds Land Rover of course! Sky

But the Land Rover is the CA vehicle of choice now!!!

Just Dreamin' here...but its such fun! Luv Ya', Sky

Oh Yeah!
I had forgotten about Mick's collection of old cars. Thanks Sky
for the reminder...seems this thread got more hits than I
thought it would. I was just thinking one day about what I would drive if I had the money, and of course my thoughts
turned to them. Hahaha.
Funny the things we dream about.
