I'm fine with a new thread of this exclusive interview.

Exclusive means that we will get new quotes. Hopefully a new pic.

wait til the 5 of them are in the room to do interviews for the Oldies concerts I bet there will be no mention of this record ...like the last tour and her promotion of 24 karat gold songs from the vault

You never know, the press might eat it up. Everyone likes a good drama story.
Look how crazy the shippers got after they had broken up 40 years earlier.

Their record together is much bigger than a solo record from stevie, they will get a lot of coverage I just hope they run with it !

They should start making out like soap stars on stage.

Let's see shall we. Stevie's last album which came out just over 2 and a half years ago sold 33,000 in the first week and debuted at #7. I can't see them doing much better, if at all.

I agree with you on this James....
I'd love them to be big sellers, just to lure Stevie back into the studio..
But I can't see that happening.

I'm sure they would love it to sell, but that's not their goal here. This band has never known how to market. They've always just been lucky with having a name. This is a new name and I doubt they are worried about sales. If it sells I'd be very surprised. I just want it to be good.

I agree, but we have to consider that Stevie didn't promote it almost at all since she was on the road with FM at the time.
But as John said, they've never been able at marketing.

I can't see it being a huge seller either. Unless...it somehow reaches the level of Robert Plant & Alison Krauss's Raising Sand, a very successful collaboration/duet album.

That's hard for me. The Bob Welch era was the best imho, it just hurts me that he does not get any recognition from the band he influenced so much.

I agree. I would say that Mystery To Me is second only to Rumours and Tusk. It's a damned fantastic album!!!

And they sweep his years and FIVE albums under the rug, like they never happened. They should ALL be ashamed of themselves.
