Welcome to my old High School.

Don't get me started about the time in Junior High when they made a rule that no one could wear shorts to school - even though it was REALLY really hot - - - The entire student government (the so-called "cool" kids who were also the cheerleaders) - wore shorts to school the next day - - That was the end of that because they weren't about to suspend anybody even remotely connected with football.
If anybody but the "cool" kids had done it they would have suspended them like a shot.
That was exactly 9 months after they wouldn't let my friend Ken take Algebra a year early because he lived on the wrong side of the highway.

I absolutely love my school in some ways but in others, it tends to be ridiculous. And trust me-- we aren't allowed to wear shorts year round. No jeans, no tank tops, no t-shirts... all skirts must be below the knee, no SANDALS. The administration is really relaxed about some things but crazy about others. The inconsistency is what is irritating.

I had to wear a uniform to school so those rules sound pretty reasonable to me!

I went to a school with a uniform for 9 years, I think. It was so much easier! You wear the same thing EVERY day so you don't need to think about it. Plus, its really difficult to even find clothes within our dress code. I miss our plaid skirts and polos

They were so simple.

The girl who I used to work with, who I made listen to FM on the way home from work last week (I say used to because they fired her today for texting, I'm so next haha) just texted me and ask if she could borrow a CD of theirs for a project. I am so excited haha. I asked her if she had a preference and she just said pick your favorite and I was like oh boy... Then I asked what her project was over and as soon as she told me I said RUMOURS! (it's basically a comparison of different kinds of love or whatever..) I'm just so happy she asked for Fleetwood Mac of all bands. I'm so excited to see what she comes up with.

I've been saying this for many years, what a great double bill this would be. The only problem though is that Heart is a much better live band than the SN band.

lol I know! Very lenient even. I went to (had to go to) Gordonstoun and I switched to Rugby School at 6th form - thank god!

Princess Anne was a regular visitor cause of her involvement in Gordonstoun and Zara was attending when I was there. Ugh. I mean they're nice people but I'm so glad I'm out of that kind of environment now. That school was in love with itself and never stopped reminding us that we were the school of royalty - what a load of wank!

Rugby was much better. Obviously still an independent school but just a nicer environement. Needless to say though that I wore a stupid looking uniform every day and was a boarder so there was no point in even trying to get away with too much cause you're surrounded by your school 24/7. But still like I said, I didn't mind my time at Rugby.

Do they have schools like that in the US? It all seems to be no uniforms and like those schools in movies which look 0% like any kind of school I've been to. Even the private ones there look different, except for maybe that one in dead poets society. That's the closest american form I've seen of what school was like.

I.am.so.tired.and.hyper.

I haven't been on the Ledge in a few days, and a lot has happened since then, but probably nothing that would excite anyone here.

I got Annie's (AMAZING) package in the mail on Friday (And I still have to excitedly PM her about it.
I went as a gangster nerd for Halloween, because I felt that my Stevie costume was not realistic enough
I went horseback riding on Friday
Yesterday was Halloween
I just got home from a sleepover with four of my best friends
I was almost scared ****less by The Uninvited
I got about three hours of sleep last night, the extra hour thanks to daylight savings time.
This list is extremely disorganzied.

Have any of you guys ever seen the uninvited?
