I wish they had jacked up the speed on “Wish You Were Here.” That one sort of snoozes along. Imagine it at about a “Dreams” tempo.

I love the live version with BuckVie. Feels like she's more married to the lyrics here. I can feel her pain as it was back then. (For Dennis)

I just wish she'd driven it live with piano instead of just holding organ chords.

Perhaps, but she really connects with the material in this setting. IMO

At their second show, I was pushed against the concrete stage, right in front of her(I had 4th row tickets, but it ain't hard beating up geriatric fans!).

Here is an mp3. Hold Me Slowly.

Alas it is not. It's just this old fool fan acting peculiarly and sharing the results of his thought experiment.

my comment wasn't meant to be disrespectful.

It was just to say that we've never gotten to hear the supposed original, slower version that she may have created, and what that might have sounded like remains an open question.

Personally I still have doubts about it really having been slow at all.

The mp3 doesn't even seem to be available anymore. (It says the owner deleted it, though I didn't..) Hope those who caught it enjoyed it
