Default christines subtleties

I was just thinking about my favorite Christine songs, and it occured to me that I really prefer her when shes really subtle, such as on Over and Over, Brown Eyes, and Songbird, as opposed to more upbeat songs like Dont Stop, YMLF and the like. I gues the exception to that for me would be Think About Me. How do others feel about this?

I have no real preference regarding Christine's songs, although my favorites are "Why" & "Songbird", which are more "subtle" songs. I can usually find something to like in any of her songs, even in her very early songs that she herself dislikes.

Also, Chris wrote more "subtle" type songs anyway. Her job in Fleetwood Mac was to write the subtle, romantic songs & to produce the hits.(which she did).

Although I love them all, I think my preference is for the more rocking songs, BUT, I might say that of any artist.
Okay, your 5 favorite ROCKING Chris songs:
Think About Me (absolutely my #1)
YMLF
Hold Me
Sugar Daddy
Believe Me-Sausalito live version- I love the intro

There's so much to be said for her more subtle songs, I think. Songs like "Brown Eyes" and "Over My Head" are incredibly sexy seemingly without even trying to be.

"Sugar Daddy" just jams the ass off the place.

God bless Sugar Daddy, is all I can say. I wish Keith Olsen had given it a little more pumping bass & a heavier kick drum. He really botched his chance.

Hold Me is by far my least favorite Fleetwood Mac song. I never got it. I'm glad someone likes it though.
