I agree it's sacrilegious, but we're all sinners here.

I love Stevie's songs on Tusk, so they're all in!

1. Angel
2. Brown Eyes
3. Sara
4. Save Me A Place
5. Think About Me
6. Sisters of the Moon
7. I Know I’m Not Wrong
8. Storms
9. Tusk
10. Never Make Me Cry
11. Beautiful Child
12. Never Forget

I can agree with you to an extent. I'd really like to know what his Tusk songs would sound like if they had been recorded conventionally. However, I can't agree that his songs 'just aren't good at all'- that's a bit harsh. I think they are all great songs waiting to get out. As a tune-smith I think he was on top form.

I'm not getting the 'I Know I'm Not Wrong' comparison with 'Not That Funny' at all. IKINW is incredibly melodic- especially the harmonica (or accordian???) part. NTF is almost anti-melody. Very little similarity at all in my opinion (apart from the fat, fuzzy bass sound).

'Tusk is not that great either'- Hmmmmm- each to their own

I think all of Lindsey's songs on Tusk would sound much better and the album would have been a bigger success if his songs were more in tune with what they did on Fleetwood Mac and Rumours

http://youtu.be/1Fi3NGwnE3c - this for example, if the album version of Not That Funny sounded more like this, it would have been much more appealing.

When I read Carol Ann Harris's book, it kind of pissed me off how big of a bitch Lindsey was about his Tusk songs, because I don't think his songs on that album are all that great. Even the good ones would sound much better if he crafted them better and less weird. And to say he wasn't going to accept any input from the rest of the band on his songs, but he can alter and give all the input he wants in their songs, that bugged me too. As I was reading this I kept hoping John would punch Lindsey in the studio at some point. I found it very satisfying when Christine slapped him and threw her champagne in his face.

I've often thought about this, and I would like to see it as follows:

1. "What Makes You Think You're the One"
2. "Think About Me"
3. "Angel"
4. "Over & Over"
5. "Sara"
6. "Save Me a Place"

7. "Tusk"
8. "Sisters of the Moon"
9. "Honey Hi"
10. "Not That Funny"
11. "Storms"
12. "Never Forget"

Over and Over
The Ledge
Think about Me
Sara
That's All For Everyone
Beautiful Child
Honey HI
Angel
Walk A Think LIne
Never Make Me Cry
Sisters Of The Moon
I Know I'm Not Wrong

Then I would release a follow up album 10 months later with the rest of the songs except That's Enough For Me. Unless Lindsey promised to remix it and take out the screams.

IKINW, and NTF are fruits of the same tree. Lindsey went two different directions with the same chord structure, and decided to keep/develop both songs. In essence they are non-identical twins.
