Something like EFO would absolutely rock the house, but the chances of that happening is less than Elvis Presley arriving for a surprise performance.

Realistically, I'd love to see NGBA and/or Say Goodbye followed by Tusk.

Realistically, I'm betting on one Lindsey and one Stevie song. Compromise seems to be the motto du jour.

Default and the third SYW Single is... ?

I'm betting... god, SO hoping ... that Thrown Down will be the third single, in a month or two. They will start playing it on tour, it will become A HIT... and they will perform it on the Grammys.

Thrown Down is the song that the majority of the fans want. I've read this over and over again on the boards and other places. I wish that FM would wise up and listen to this. Also, the song was written during The Dance about Stevie and Lindsey's tumultuous (and legendary) relationship. Come on, it is THE song to get the attention that Say You Will (the album) needs...........

Maybe if we all WISH it into being ...wish REAL hard!!!

Steal Your Heart Away and Thrown Down would be nice Grammy choices.

I seriously think the Mac needs to stay away from those goddam midtempo songs on live appearances. It makes them look like a band even older than they are and quite bland. They need to do what Stevie did on the Blockbuster Awards: strut out, play a really HARD ROCKIN' song that isn't a single, and watch everyone make faces of amazement. Thrown Down sure as hell won't do it and I think it's a BAD choice for live performances and radio. On the radio, it'll go over like a lead balloon. They need something upbeat, not some meandering, boring, listless tune.

There's a good idea. But Fleetwood Mac will probably just play "Peacekeeper" or "Say You Will" at the Grammys, & everyone will just think, "Old music. Old voices. Old farts. Get out of here."

I understand your point -- the Stevie Blockbuster appearance was extreme and vibrant; it still makes me shiver with excitement! When I think of Thrown Down, I think of them definitely turning it up a couple notches - ala the "Wall of Sound" outtake...

*However*, now that I've pondered this some more -- heck, bring on MURROW!!! Can't you just see Lindsey rockin' out as Stevie plays tamborine around the stage?! OK... add this to the EFO mention above. EFO and Murrow. We'll be seeing this. Yep.

FM at the Grammy's would be awesome! I think they deserve a three-song set (hey, a fan can dream) so here are my picks...

1. THE CHAIN-This one always gets the crowd going and STILL, after all these years, KICKS A$$!!!

***No alternative choice.

2. STEAL YOUR HEART AWAY-This song really showcases the harmonies that SN/LB have and that FM are known for.

***Alternate choice-realistically, they'd probably perform something safe (but a real crowd pleaser) like STAND BACK.

3. COME-OMG, this would ****** blow EVERYONE away! It would also shut up every critic who thinks FM is a rock dinosaur and prove they ARE a FORCE to be reckoned with!

***Alternate choice- ::the crowd gasps:: EVERYBODY FINDS OUT. This song would be incredible live and would show SN for what she is "The Queen of Rock".

If only I was producing the Grammy's... ::sighs::
