Can you imagine - a Buckingham Nicks FM albvum out the same time as a Christine solo album. It's madness! Lol. Good madness! Meanwhile I guess if ever, it will be a while 'till the new Christine album.

Hi Ledgies,
I know that I will probably get crucified by many of you for this but I have to be honest. In a way, I have kind of been excited from the beginning that it would just be Stevie and Lindsey on this album. PLEASE don't get me wrong. I love Chris and FM won't be the same without her. It's just that Stevie's and Lindsey's songs are the reason I am the devoted FM fan that I am today. All three have there own unique style and it was always Stevie's and Lindsey's that appealed to me the most. I guess what I am trying to say is that the reason I am happy is because by Chris not being there, that leaves more songs for me by Stevie and Linsdsey on the album and the tour.
Please don't get mad at me for this. I am not trying to start anything at all. We've had enough arguments on the board. I am just trying to explain the reason I voted the way I did on the poll.
And as I said. I think that Chris is an absolutely AMAZING and talented musician. I also think it would be great if she would come out with a new solo album. I would definitely buy it. And boy can she play that piano?! Fleetwood Mac would have never been Fleetwood Mac without her.

Brett...I feel the same way. As much as I love Christine, I'm sooo hyped that this is going to be a Buckingham/Nicks FM album. But I'll definitely buy that solo album if it comes out!

I'm "on board" too...for me Fleetwood Mac isn't Fleetwood Mac without personnel changes.

Plus, I buy in wholeheartedly to Johnny Stew's premise that with Christine OUT of the band and releasing a solo album, we'll actually end up with close to twice as much music available to us than if she'd stayed in the band.
