Thumbs up Songbird First Dance For Tomkat Wedding!

I was just watching E! and they reported that Tom and Kate's First Dance was to "Songbird"! And they showed a clip from The Dance. I just thought that was pretty cool. Out of all the songs they could have choosen they picked Songbird! I didnt see a post for this so I thought it was an interesting small snippet of information.

It's already the title of a thread, in another forum.

However, thanks for posting it here. Some of us simply never look at that (ahem) other forum. The only forums I ever look at are this one and the Pre-Rumours forum (which SHOULD be too forums -- one for the Peter Green era and one for the Bob Welch era).

My only question is who are Tom and Kate? I have a feeling we're talking a TV show that I never watch. (I watch five things on tv: sports, old reruns of shows from the '60s, news, the MTV hits channel, and an occasional science or nature program).

I'm not sure if you're kidding, but "Tom and Kate" are Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes. If you aren't kidding, then you haven't missed a thing.

By the way, the only TV I ever watch is news, sports, the weather channel & the Law and Order shows.

I just go to Bob's OWN forum.
He's having pizza for Thanksgiving, BTW.

It's okay. I was just letting you know that they were discussing it elsewhere here.

Please don't apologize! You did a good thing by posting it here. I honestly NEVER look at the Rumours forum so therefore I miss anything Christine-related over there if it isn't repeated over here.

Homer, I also look in at Bob's forum now and again (I usually sign myself "Joanne from Cape Cod"). I think it is just so way cool that Bob reads and responds to questions on his forum. His website is fab! But what's with that guy who's always posting when someone in the music world has died? I wish there was a way to get him to shut up. I haven't said anything because I don't want to offend the guy, who is a much more active participant on Bob's board than I am.

I belong to another board too, that also has an Obituary poster. Seems kinda morbid, but I guess they just don't want us to forget those .......older musicians that pass away.

the sad thing is that i bet they didn't even pick it out themselves. their handlers or PR people or whomever is packaging this relationship are the ones with amazing taste.
