Seeds We Sow - Lindsey's worst album?

Yes the only album of his that I didn't care for, after enough listens.
It sounds to me like if Lindsey had changed his way of recording and engineering, also. The sounds he got do not sound pleasant to me this time.
I have the same problem with the new FM EP.

In contrast, the songs from "This is 40" sound awesome to my ears, with very good production, arrangements and sound in general. So a good external producer like Jon Brion sounds like the best idea to me, for a next work.
