YOU name the new album
Okay, creative people...let's throw some WACKY, WIERD, GOOFY, OFF THE WALL titles for the new album...who knows, maybe they will do something TOTALLY KICK-AS* and have a contest to NAME the new FM album!!!! Hey, Journey got their band name from a contest...it could happen...
Here are my suggestions (popped into my head during work): Fever ("can you feel the fever?") Joy & Sorrow Fascination Echoing Voice Meeting in Paradise or Meeting of the Minds Yep, they make NO sense, but they sounded kinda cool...and I was MEGA BORED at work today. Okay, have at it!!!

I have a few...
titles that would make a decent album title (A few of these titles are also released songs by Dream Theater...1 of them is even a name of 1 of DT's earlier albums..lol)
The Mirror Images And Words A Vision Speak To Me The Spirit Carries On Voices Nahhh...Those wouldnt be good enough for the Mac...I think I have a perfect one though: Booger...(Because it will be the definite "pick-of-the-year")...Hehehehe!!!! "Doncha just love the color green"...LOL...Brian

Fever ("can you feel the fever?") QUOTE] Ooh, I like that. I think the best titles are ambigous nouns that sound cool - Mirage was like that. I can't think if any myself because such things are usually random! |

Yes! 'Fever' is good! Like nancy says, the 'ambiguous nouns' work well, like Tusk, Rumours, Mirage. But then I really dig 'Tango in the Night', and like 'Gift of Screws' that was Lindsey's solo album.
There is something a little bit trite about 'Fever' - heh, I keep thinking of Grace Knight: 'You give me fever!' But it could work very well methinks. It certainly sums up (Ledgie) public sentiment about waiting for the new material, like Rumours.

I don't care if they call it "What's in a name" at this point...but a couple i thought of were:
Shadow Road-only because..FM is on a new path...without Chris and all...but the thing that makes them great is that they have such a dynamic history...members coming and going...but in some way they have molded the band and will alwyas be a part of it... and the other one: Do It Again-simple,kinda silly...but to the point, lol.

"Atkins Schmatkins, Pass Me The Chips"
"Buckingwood McNicks" "One McVie Down, One To Go" "Were Only In It For The Money"...(wait, never mind, Frank Zappa already used that one back in 1967). "Not So Low" (apologies to John Fitzgerald): "Wet Camel Food"

Could they just name the album after one of the new songs?(Not an album title suggestion, just a thought)
