Thumbs up Mac at the Movies

My mom went to the movies last night and during the previews they showed some clips of the mac preforming live and announcing the summer tour and the April release of the album!

It's time to get everyone excited!

I think it was "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" at a Regal Movie Theater.

Would't be great to see them on the big screen?! Imagine Mick. He probably can't fit all 6'6" on the big screen!

Well I finally saw the trailer tonight, in front of "The Life of David Gale". Since I was kinda hoping it would be there, I wasn't that suprised to see it, but it was cool.

It started off w/ the Chain riff, then slowly flashed "Fleetwood Mac" on the screen....then Rhiannon played and they mentioned the new album and tour, followed by GYOW. While GYOW played, they showed clips from The Dance.

I was a little disappointed that they didn't have something more dynamic for the fonts and background...it was just a generic font in white on black background, until the clips kicked in. I was hoping it would be a sepia or marble tone or something across the words. And they should have used a clip from one of the new songs...but I guess I'm nitpicking.

It was very cool to see their name up there on the screen, and I heard several people around me talking about the trailer. I think it's an excellent marketing tool and it does make me feel like FM is really going for it with this album.

GO FLEETWOOD MAC!
