OF COURSE that's what it was! Good call, Josh....Man, I love that song! I wish he would have done it.

Why did you chicken out????!!!!
yes!

and leave out Trouble (or that was just too bold for you LB?). please please please - play the encore as you originally intended before you chickened out.

(although TAFE is the song i care the least out of all his Tusk songs, but still...)

besides the absolute gems he pulled out (and the fact that both hard-core fans and casual show-goers all have the same reaction - everybody is blown away even more than usual!!) - looking at that setlist and the things he said from the vids i've seen so far or the way he emphasized words in certain songs (like in Trouble "should be saying good night now"), i do think he structured the whole show kind of like a thematic album, and/or is sending certain messages. seems that each song has its place that's even more carefully chosen than usual, fitting both words and music in a certain succession.

Oh yeah, he's thinking too much, that's clear. I mean; it makes him cautious on the points where I want him to loosen up. But that's the on and off thing I've had with the man since 1976. Part of the fandom is in dissapointment and then find the gold in the things he did not do your way. Fck, I love that man.

By the way, That's All For Everyone is the most difficult song from Tusk to do solo-live. That's why I want to hear it: it MUST be a total rearrangement.

i don't know enough about the level of difficulty, but i can see SMAP, WATL or TAFU done solo live. other Tusk songs have very emphasized drum tracks etc that make the song what it is and i just can't see WMYTYTO or NTF or The Ledge solo acoustic however much i'd love that. and they would be just wrong with pre-recorded drum tracks imo. but then again, he apparently did once do a solo acoustic arrangement of GYOW so nothing seems that impossible for him...

I don't know anything about the difficulties of technique either. But the layered vocalchoir in TAFE can not be done alone.

Interesting, because that last syllable really did not sound like "sing." And the way he said daaan, drawing it out made it sound like a damnation, a condemnation of something, so I likened it to "dam," with "damn" being the double entendre.

Everyone could have been another new song too.

I wonder if he will start taking requests for the encore, where he might switch things up from night to night, as he has done in the past. Michele

He's not educated. He probably dropped out of college after one semester.

ok, we just had a little discussion on FB about this:

when Bob Aguirre posted about Dancing / Raven being a new song, he also mentioned that it is supposed to go with the song Everyone's Gone To The Moon in the encore. so that may be a completely new song too?!

Maybe "Everyone" is "What's the World Coming Too" it has that line in the song.

i know, it does... but why wouldn't it be called just What's The World or something like that and not Everyone in the setlist?

he does repeat the same lines in different songs so it is possible that it's a new song, but who knows.

It's an old song. Unless he ripped off (uh...borrowed) the title.
