Favorite Cover Art on an album?

Does anyone have a favorite album cover? I was kind of debating in my head today which one I like the best and I can't decide! I'm really liking the Say you Will cover art, but maybe that is because it is just new.

By the way, I'm new here!

Well, I REALLY love the SYW cover because of TWO WORDS: leather pants.

Seriously tho...I love the SYW cover (Stevie's hair is cool, it looks so full and fluffy!) and my faves are Rumours, Tango, Mirage, Kiln House, Then Play On and The Dance.

SYW - LEATHER PANTS!!!!!!

Rumours - Classic, romantic, timeless

Tango - The colors are intriguing and I love that there's a penguin AND some sort of UFO (LOL)

Mirage - The "illusion" and Lindsey lookin HOT and Stevie lookin...um....very flexible. LOL

Kiln House - The colors!!!!!! It's so whimsical!!

Then Play On - It's very 60's and cool!

The Dance - The only Fireflies-era cover with all five....well not counting the VBOFM. LOL

For me it's got to be Tusk...now hang on one second and let me explain myself!!

Not because of the actual front cover with the dog photo but because of all the wonderful stuff on the inside of the vinyl LP...loads to look at and every time I look at it I find a little something new

And I especially love the band photos from the secondary inners too.

Wish they picked a better photo for the main cover though....the dog was Mick's idea wasn't it?

I really like the Say You Will cover as well. But, my favorite covers are 1. Rumours and then 2.Tusk. The only reason I like the Tusk cover is because whenever my sisters looks at it she cracks up at the dog.

My favorite album covers are Kiln House & Rumours. Kiln House, because Christine drew the cover and Rumours because of its simplicity & elegance. Since I'm a dog lover, I don't like the actual Tusk cover. But, I love the artwork on the inner sleeves. Like the earlier post, I'm always finding something new every time I look at them.

Tusk. Without any question. Because of the whole cover-concept. And of course: it contains the best album ever recorded....

I think "Bare Trees" is very cool and quite indicative on the feel of the record. I also love the Behind the Mask cover.

I also love about how La Nicks said it killed her to do the cover of Mirage because she thought she was the reincarnation of Marie Antoinette and she experienced difficulty throwing her head back like that because Marie's had been cut off - Only Stevie

My favs are Mirage and Rumours. Both are classic and romantic poses and have my gal, Stevie in it. I also like..and I know its not MAC, but I love the Buckingham Nicks cover and the pics inside. I have a poster of BN cover framed and hanging in my house. Nice conversation piece

Bare Trees â€“ love the photograph of the trees on the front

Rumours â€“ classic romantic Stevie & gallant Mick

Mirage â€“ lovely photograph with my Gypsy bending backwards

Tango â€“ awesome artwork reminds me of a tropical tango in the night

Time â€“ Donâ€™t care for the album, but love the photo on the front for some reason

SYW â€“ LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

I agree that Time & Bare Trees have covers very appropriate to their themes.

Rumours gives a sense of grace and artistry, but I hate that dull yellow color. I admit that the color makes the album instantly recognizable in any collection.

Mirage is my favorite of the Rumours line-up. Love the surreal/brushed/hand-tinted effect along with the dark background. Even so, Stevie's neck is creepy, very long, and looking almost like she has an Adam's Apple sticking out. (It's funny that Strand mentioned the Marie thing, because when I see the Mirage cover I always think of that interview in which Stevie says she was beheaded in her past life, so she has no control over how far she can put her head back at the beauty parlor.)The contrast in arm positions between Stevie's & Christine's is great. And even Lindsey's eye make-up isn't too distracting.

I also like the BN cover, but my favorite cover is Rock a Little.

I forgot I love the Dance too. Also love the photo of the set w/out all them in it, but with the props still there.

As far as Stevie solo, I love TISL, SA and OSOTM.

My favourite cover is Mirage. I like the way the band looks and the cover is nicely done. The Dance cover is really nice as well with all of them making it on the cover. For Stevie's Solo Album's I like the Trouble In Shangri La album as I like the way it is photographed. Lindsey's Out of The Cradle album is also very good Nothing too fancy but a really good cover none the less.

I would say that my favorite cover is Mirage as it was the first album I purchased, the picture of the three creative forces in the band is one that brings me back in time.

I also love the Dance cover, too.

I really love the SAY YOU WILL cover because it is just so different, the same reason I like the TUSK cover....BUT nothing beats Rumours for me I would say.

My favorites are Rumours because it is just such a classic cover, The Dance because all of them are on it and it is really cool and Say You Will just for the Lindsey and Stevie factor!
