Toronto is $199 ($217.75 including fees) so they did jack up the prices. I hope this doesn't backfire on them. The economy in the USA is still not great, and this might hurt ticket sales in some markets.

Ottawa date added Oct 26th Fleetwood Mac is returning to Ottawa, and touring the rest of Canada.

The classic British rock band will play the Canadian Tire Centre on Oct. 26, with the reconvened lineup of Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Christine McVie.

Ticket prices and sale dates have not yet been released.

The band’s On With The Show tour will also play Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary Edmonton and Vancouver. See all tour dates and watch for ticket information at fleetwoodmac.com.

Additional dates seem to be trickling in. There was only 1 Texas date earlier (Dallas), and now Houston has been added too. I had the same reaction- we have over 25,000,000 people in this state. 1 date will not do it!!

The big question is... will Mick do another VIP Experience package? That was really a great way to get guaranteed front row without having to get too stressed out.

I see VIP package sale dates are listed on the Ticketmaster site, but no specifics yet. Pricing for regular tickets is $49.50-$179.50. Not nearly as bad as I thought!

Hello all---

Here is the text of the official press release.

It's great to hear that they're doing a tour, but does starting in what is essentially the beginning of October mean no new album? If so, that's not entirely great news.

Also, not to rain on the parade, but the whole Amex thing is just further proof that money is a big factor in this effort. These shows will surely sell out, and for those of us who don't use Amex, it essentially means we're going to end up paying premium prices at StubHub or elsewhere.

Not to mention the fact that tickets are going on sale 6+ months before the first shows. The Houston show is 8.5 months from the on sale date. That's just plain greed. They're trying to get all their money up front before they even start tour rehearsals.

After a 16-year absence, Christine McVie will be rejoining Fleetwood Mac band mates Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as they launch the On With The Show Tour. Exclusively promoted by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Minneapolis, Minn. at the Target Center and the reunited band will perform 34 shows in 33 cities across North America. Christine has not toured with the band since 1998’s The DanceTour.

The reunion of the multi-GRAMMY Award®-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and one of rock’s most beloved bands was announced during an interview from Los Angeles, Calif. with Carson Daly on NBC’s TODAY this morning. A full tour schedule follows this release.

Fleetwood Mac is also scheduled to appear on TODAY’s Summer Concert Series on the Plaza At Rockefeller Center on Oct. 9.
