Christine can be hit or miss with lyrics as we know. But this one I didn't buy the emotion in the song. I love the emotion of In the Meantime and I'm glad she didn't throw Temp One in that mix.

Stevie is hit or miss too with lyrics. But I do love WTTRS. Something about the music and the way the three singers collaborate on it make it special.

Anyway Homer is going to cook me if I don't stop. Then Gate and Garden will get me if he doesn't. So I'm getting the hell out of here.

Good ol' Chris McVie!
I really like that song too! I recall an interview a long while ago when she was asked about her songs prior to the Buckingham/Nicks era. She mentioned that she particularly liked that song, but thought her vocals were "horrendous." She wished she could go back and redo it.

How come y'all don't just call me Hillary instead of typing out my sn? Anyway, "Temporary One" is one of my all-time fave Christine songs!!! I'm fond of WTTRS as well.

I don't think they're her absolute best vocals (I think some of the best are on In the Meantime), but I think she still sounds wonderful in that one! I don't know why she doesn't like her voice in it.

What do you prefer, broiling or roasting?
Temp One isn't a favorite of mine either. It's okay though, everything from my Queen is acceptable.

A day without Christine is, LITERALLY, a day without sunshine.

She's said the same thing about "Come A Little Bit Closer" too. I can't figure out why she didn't like her vocals on either song. I think her vocals on HAHTF are fine, although certainly not nearly as good as her In The Meantime vocals. I think her vocals on ITM are her best ever.

I think of FM every day of my life, and it's pretty hard for me to think of FM without Christine.

Not so much a fan of "One More Night," but I love that version of "Over & Over." That song worked so well live.
