For SYW they had this deal with NBC where they were promoted on 4 of the network's shows. They played Thrown Down on Friends and they were on Leno for 2 nights and some other show (Third World?) and they also did Dateline and they were sitting there being interviewed and when the "shackin' up" line came up Lindsey said something like "the truth hurts." It amused me, because I just didn't expect that he would basically say "yeah it was true" in 2003.

I really don't care as long as whatever they play is not something they have done either at all or for a very long time. I just wish Mirage and Tango would get some love aside from the songs they always do (Big Love , Gypsy). If this is the last tour then they need to really revamp the show.

songs / deep cuts from Tusk and Say You Will albums would be among my first choices. some serious gems there that never got enough exposure.

I say yes on WATL, but only if they do "The Visitor" arrangement.

yes, i would definitely expect a completely new and revamped arrangement. the official Tusk version may be now among my least favorite ones, along with the Visitor version.

the demo / extra disc Tusk version is much faster than the official release and i like it much better (plus it has that "toe the line" line), although still not as much as the Deerhunter version. Deerhunter version with Lindsey's voice would work for me... but i trust that he'd be able to pull a great new version live with FM.

Ehhh, I mean okay. But I would prefer this for a Lindsey solo show...Why not play something the rest of the band could really be involved in.

He can do Stephanie again, though.

well i was pushing that last year, but he seems to have this idea that he should try to play as many solo songs as possible at his solo shows, while save FM songs for a FM show. which does make sense, unless he starts performing tons of solo songs at the Mac show.

so since he wouldn't perform WATL last year i started lobbying he should add it to the Mac set considering they keep saying how this tour will be different, deep cuts, blah blah blah.

I'd love to. It's one of my favorite Lindsey songs.

I have voted no, as it is not one of my favourites - sorry.

But I do hope that they will have many overlooked gems in their setlist!
