No, not really. The achievement is to sustain that rank after 1 or 2 weeks have passed. Fans are always the FIRST to buy.

GOS is #20 on Amazon MP3 album downloads.

It must be actually really exciting times for lindsey after releasing an album. Like I'm sure he has a realistic target in his head that he wants to reach with sales. He knows roughly what he's capable of. And I'll be a monkeys uncle if lindsey dosent sit at home on the laptop scouring Amazon, Billboard, rolling stone etc etc to see where he is ranked. And I'll be the dogs left ball if he dosent read this ledge too for a chuckle. He must be curious as to what the real fans think at such an exciting and lively time.

Info on Amazon's Sales Rankings - http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...&nodeId=525376 ... its basically a glorified rolling average, and not a true representation of the cumulative sales of a product (which is what Billboard is for- the only ranking that truly matters)

Wow thats awesome! It was interesting to see it on top of both Ne-Yo's new Album and Coldplay!

I am going to guess about 50-60 on billboard.

Good for Lindsey! Unfortunately Calgary (a city of a million) probably got about 100 total

Monday and Tuesday next week the numbers start rolling in at hitsdailydouble and by late Tuesday, it should be determined where he lands on the chart, if he makes the top 50 (that's what they track). They're numbers are fairly accurate to what Billboard will publish by Thursday next week.

If he exceeds what he did with UTS (13,000 1st week sales & #80 on the chart), then he will absolutely land in the top 40 and quite possibly the top 30. Number #30 on the last tally was Duffy with 15,900 copies sold and #40 was Ice Cube with 11,800 - So there's a good chance of a high placement.

Must be selling better than expected because Circuit City has the CD already listed as a back-order.

It moved down to 34 today on iTunes, but is still 4 in Rock cds
