I do appreciate ANYONE who has the gumption to post the live concert photos. It takes fear and guts to do it [take photos during a concert.]

I was able to sneak a camera in at the Boulder Show. The security man was large (think former pro wrestler) and literally knocked a guy's hand down as he was taking a photo with his phone. In doing so, Mr. Security pushed people out of the way to get to the camera man.

I got a few photos, but they were all blurry...fear makes me shake the camera, I guess.

I just got one of those Live Nation surveys about the concert. It asked a lot of questions about the venue, but whenever I had the opportunity, I boasted about Lindsey and Fleetwood Mac, hoping that will help the band negotiate a deal in 2009.

At the end, the survey asked me a question about my opinion of Samsung. So, I wondered if they are a potential sponsor. Coincidentally, at the concert, I spilled a bottle of water in my purse. It ruined my Iphone and my Palm Pilot, but my Samsung cell phone carried on. Samsung takes a licking and keeps on ticking. So, I gave it high marks with Live Nation.

I like the setlist photo.

Someone sent me this one from 2006 UTS.

It must have been one of the earlier shows, because there's a lot of notations on it.

I'm seeing him in a couple weeks and my thoughts on the setlist:

Go Insane full band! While I thought his acoustic performance of this song was more intense than the album version by far, it's going to be interesting to see this done differently (ironically, "differently" being closer to the album version than his usual live arrangement).

I'm bummed that DLD is the only OOTC song... I was so hoping for Soul Drifter. Oh well, at least he's including one.

No Holiday Road? That one always got the crowd going and I agree that it is arguably his best known solo song (thanks to tons of replays of National Lampoon's Vacation). A mistake to drop it. I'll miss Castaway Dreams as well, but you can't have everything, and I do realize that slow songs often don't play as well live. I also wish Wait for You was there... oh, how I love that song!

Come... eh. It's like the poor man's ISA. We don't need it - but ISA is indispensable, IMHO. If one of 'em goes, it should be Come. Lindsey not doing ISA, a showpiece, would be like Stevie not doing Edge of Seventeen for her solo shows. Also, I love seeing how he's changed it from previous tours - there's always tweaks with each new go 'round on the road.

I'm very excited to hear the new songs!

That looks like Brett's guitar tech's set list/notes. So he knows which guitars to have ready for each song, and how they need to be tuned.

Great pic, Livia!! You ARE brave for taking the pic, because it seems every tour, they are getting more and more Nazi-ish about cameras. I'm nervous about taking mine, after what happened in Chicago, but I'm going to anyway.

6 days until GOS is out!

Okay I admit it I’m one of the lurkers! lol This is my first post so Hi everybody.

I’m a big fan of great guitar players, and yes as my name implies I have been to a lot of concerts and have many front row shows under my belt. Some of my front row shows include, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour (twice), Jeff Beck (twice), Robin Trower, and BB King, just to name a few.

I’ve got 4th row tickets for Lindsey’s Anaheim show and am really looking forward to it! It will be my first Lindsey/Fleetwod Mac show so I’m excited, I do own the Bass Performance Hall DVD/CD so I kind of know what to expect, and basically I’m expecting a lot the DVD is very good.

One thing about this thread though is a few have said they would want to see I’m So Afraid off the set list. From the guitar player fan in me I think ISA is one of the best songs on the set list. I’m really looking forward to seeing that song live.

I’m sure I’ll post more after the show Friday. Is anyone else going? If so is there a meet up planned?

Welcome and don't be a lurker. Be an opinionator instead.
When I saw Lindsey on the SYW Tour in 2004 the highlite of the show for me turned out to be I'm So Afraid. So I'd say you really have something awesome, yet familiar to look forward to.
