Default Reading, AC, Northampton, Ridgefield

After a threemonth hiatus, I just want to say that I'm excited to post here that I'm going to cross the pond to see these four Lindseyshows. Who will be there too for maybe a meet-up before the show?

Gerald

Thanks. Sorry I can't support you, I even go overboard myself, financially. I just could NOT defend myself for doing something stupid any longer.

There's an upgrade available for the Ridgefield Playhouse, meet and greet possibility:

Norwalk Plus

http://www.norwalkplus.com/nwk/infor...ouse2008.shtml

Visionary singer Lindsey Buckingham returning to The Ridgefield Playhouse

By Ridgefield Playhouse

Lindsey Buckingham is a multi-platinum enigma and one of the founding members of the group Fleetwood Mac, but yet, somewhat mysterious. However, what is not mysterious about this visionary singer and guitarist, is how he mesmerizes the crowd while singing hits such as "Go Your Own Way," "Tusk" and other great songs from his Fleetwood Mac days in addition to his new solo singles. He will do just that at The Ridgefield Playhouse for Movies and the Performing Arts on Wednesday, October 15 at 8 p.m., just one month after the release of his new album, "Gift of Screws." An AllShows.com VIP Party Pass ($50 upgrade) is available for this show, which includes a cocktail party from 6:30-7:30 p.m. as well as VIP parking and, when available, a meet and greet with the artist.

"Gift of Screws" is Buckingham's first album since 2006's acoustically focused "Under The Skin." Mixing the immediacy of the best of his contributions to Fleetwood Mac with experimental production flourishes, highlights of the set include "Bel Air Rain," "Time Precious Time," "Underground," "Love Runs Deeper" and "Treason." "You could certainly say this album is a distillation of a number of periods of time, some false starts to make albums, certainly some songs that go back a number of years, all combined with brand-new songs and a whole other outlook," explains Buckingham.

For tickets ($85) or more information, call the box office at (203) 438-5795 or go to www.ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is located at 80 East Ridge, which runs parallel to Main Street.

do all shows have a meet and greet or is that particular to that venue?

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

It's just particular to that venue. Also, I'm not even sure there will be one for that venue, because it just says that with a $50 upgrade you get a meet and greet "when available." So . . .

I'm heading to the Ridgefield Playhouse with the hubby. I've got great seats and intend to do the coctail with Lindsey. I'll be giving Kristen the evil eye if she's there. I'm Sicilian, she'd better watch out!
