Apparently.

Christine?? Cate Blanchett, naturally...with Helen Mirren as the "elder" Christine. (Helen & Christine are close to the same age)

I have thought about it, and I think Jennifer Love Hewitt would make a wonderful Stevie, the big brown eyes, the lips, the skin, THAT NOSE!!! All she would really have to do is get a great dye job! I think for Lindsey, Stephen Paul Rudd could do well! As for the rest of the band, I really have to Stand Back and think about it.

Hope it's cool to revive this thread.. and quote from the Lindsey one
I just have to say I can't believe I never noticed the resemblance before...
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one of my favorite shows. I wonder if he could pull it off though? I've never seen him in any other role.. not sure what kind of range he has.

Also, would we want a movie like Walk the Line, where the leads actually sing? Or a film like Ray, where it's lip-synced?
If it's the latter what about Michelle Williams for Stevie? Not a whole lot like her.. but I think she's a good actress and close enough

I agree about Glenn Howerton. I saw a movie he was in and even my husband pointed out that from the side, that guy looks like Lindsey in the vid for Holiday Road. I didn't realize this was the same guy everyone was talking about until today. If he didn't want to play LB, I like what rocknalittle posted, that Paul Rudd would be good.

Default Lindseys Role

I think an early Mickey Rourke (like in the 9 1/2 weeks era before he went ugly) would go great as lindsey

I agree about Allison Lohman, she'd be an amazing likeness for Stevie. Not that f*ing Lindsay Lohan who wanted to *shudders at the thought*

I highly doubt Ladyhawke would be into acting, but she reminds me of a punk version of Stevie.

I agree. I can't see Reese as Stevie. Although, Reese can pull off a tough girl. She has been in so many sappy romantic comedys that some people forget she used to do dark/edgy roles in her early career.

I really wouldn't want Ladyhawke in the role though, since she isn't an actress and wouldn't do it anyway. However, she reminds me of a punk Stevie. If she was an actress I could see it since she favors her in some ways....like the hair.

Humm Luke Perry...I did a google search on him since I haven't seen him in awhile and I can see it. He could pull off Lindsey, esp now that his older.

I agree about Lindsay....I do think she can act, but there is no way she could pull off Stevie. Not in looks or stage presence; if her AMA performance (of Edge) was any indication.

You are going to laugh, but I think if Ricky Gervais's friend Stephen Merchant put on some weight and had long black hair, he would make a perfect Mick.
