Default Fleetwood Mac to Debut New Lineup at iHeartRadio Music Festival - Sept 21 and 22

The iHeartRadio Music Festival, to be held September 21 and 22 at Las Vegasí T-Mobile Arena, has added Fleetwood Mac to a lineup that includes Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Imagine Dragons, Jason Aldean, Sam Smith, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Shawn Mendes, Rae Sremmurd and Logic, among many more. The two-day event will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

It will be Fleetwood Macís first time performing with new band members Mike Campbell and Neil Finn, and the groupís debut performance at the festival, which is geared at the broad audience listening to iHeartMediaís over 800 radio stations. The announcement arrives ahead of a tour that kicks off in October. Member Lindsey Buckingham left the group in April. It was announced that former Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist Campbell and Crowded House singer Finn would fill in for Buckingham.

The iHeartRadio festival has traditionally included a veteran act on its lineup. In previous years, Aerosmith, Queen + Adam Lambert and Billy Idol have held that slot. This year, Lynyrd Skynyrd will also be featured.

ďIt is an honor to be performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival for our very first time,Ē said Stevie Nicks. ďThe beauty of an event like this is that it is a true representation of the power of radio. Itís an opportunity for artists across all genres to share one stage and what we all love most ó music!Ē

The iHeartRadio Music Festival will be broadcast live across the iHeartMedia network to more than 150 markets and on the CW Networkís CWTV.com and The CW App. A two-night television special is scheduled for Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.

The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival is co-produced by John Sykes and Tom Poleman.

SWEET! I am so looking forward to hearing how they sound. I suppose they will do a classic song...but it would be so great if they would perform something new and a classic. Crossing fingers...

you are cute.

everyone said he didn't look at Stevie and how wrong that was, that was the "hissy fit".

but everyone said his performance was his usual 200%. something that cannot be said for every other member of that 5. that's why they have to play iheartradio thingy now. that's one thing they CAN say they'd never do if LB was still in the band.

The bottom line is youíre just here to try to stir the pot again. Go back to the rumors board where you are with all your cronies and you can talk bad about everybody as much as you want. Itís old.

John - no mater what you post, there will be a negative response from the "Lindsey as victim" crowd here. I'm looking forward to seeing the new lineup and also seeing Lindsey on his next tour.

LOL!

Sam Smith is playing the same night. In case you forgot, he got sued by Tom Petty because “Stay With Me” was too much like “I Won’t Back Down.”

Better still, Jason Aldean is playing that night, too. He did the cold open on Saturday Night Live after the Vegas shootings, which was the same week Tom died, and played “I Won’t Back Down.” Sam Smith was the musical guest that night.

Poor Sam can’t catch a break.

Saw this this morning and thought, we will at least have a chance to see how they look and sound before the big tour gets underway. I still haven't bought tickets. So this will be a good way to decide if I want to go to the Pittsburgh show or not.

I'm getting excited! Great timing for the band, a month before the tour actually begins. I hope they sing 3-4 songs at least!

As for Elle's side comments about this concert being a comedown from the classic shows East and West, that's just silly. Wasn't Journey one of the acts at the classic shows? No offense to Journey fans intended, but the HeartRadio show lineup sounds JUST as impressive, if not more so, than the classic shows.

That's an...interesting lineup to throw 'Fleetwood Mac' in the middle of.
But it'll probably help their ticket sales.
