Nope not Slick Tom, it was Carl Russo. I don't care for him at all. He's rather pompous, and then comes up with really reliable information like EO17 being played this tour....THEN blames it on the band's press release.

I don't like anyone at 97 rock anymore, none of them know WTF they're talking about. They're also too busy replaying the same Zep & Floyd songs over & over again to bother with Mac (they pretty much only play GYOW, Oh Well once in a while.) It's pretty damn sad that the easy-listening or Top 40 stations have better contests & promotions for Mac when they come to town than 97 Rock does..

OK, tirade over...

But this brings us to a good question. Over on the Stevie Nicks Underground recently it had a Mirage rehearsal for download with the Mac jamming on Edge Of 17. It wasn't the complete song, but they were definitely trying to work it out.
I wonder if they contemplated playing it on the Mirage tour?
Oo. Does anyone have a copy of that?

LMFAO Yes! That's the set to a T! (Except for #24....it's called "Hope Your Heart's Not Broken)

*disclaimer: my sarcasm in no way endorses the content of the list as I am aware that songs such as 'velvet underground' and 'follow you down' are not on the current leg.*

ACK!! I grabbed the wrong list!!

I'm fully aware that they're doing Drownding In The Sea Of Love and Lips Were Waiting instead.

Yeah It's basically those 2 and I'd add Edge of 17 gets some big airplay on 97 rock. And GDW gets some decent airplay. They were playing it as my alarm went off a few weeks ago. Normally I quicly hit sleep, but danm that GDW I had to let it play.

So I'm not the only one who won't turn off the tv or radio if a Mac song's on...good to know!

Paula

PS - I also refuse to leave stores if a Mac or Stevie song comes over the intercom system. Yup, I know I'm a loser

No way!! I would be reluctant to leave a burning building if Mac came on!! Even though i've heard all the songs a million times, doesn't matter. And you can catch me singing out loud in stores!!

Yeah, and I actually start dancing up and down the aisles while pointing to the speakers as if Stevie were actually hovering above me, and I shout "It's Stevie, it's Stevie!" Loser #1, hi, I'm Loser #2.
