Talking I went tornado chasing today!

So at around 7 we here there is a tornado 3 miles sout of haysville (town I live in) and they are saying get into your shelters, well I didn't I went to chase it! Well i was out and saw 3 funnels but nothing drop down! I also saw HUGE hail! Penny size? PLEASE! It was about the size of baseballs! NO JOKE! So I decide to go home, well I turn in the TV and see that a tornado touched down 2 miles were i was at! I guess I'm crazy! But when you live in Kansas you learn to not be scared of these! Maybe tomorrow! were supposed to get the same type of storm in the same area! I really want to see one badly! 3rd tornado warning this year! I think were gonna break a record!

I'm a weather freak. I really should have become a meteorologist. I would like to witness a tornado from a safe distance. I live about 50 miles east of Kansas City and it looks like a rough night.

My son had his 12th birthday yesterday and we had a campout party last night. When I got up this morning the tent was in the neighbors yard and the boys sacked out on the floor. We had high winds and it flat poured.

Don't get to close to the tornadoes Jacob.

Seriously. I'm a little worried about how I will do in the winter (seasonal depression is a concern) but blizzards don't freak me out as much as the other mentioned weather happenings.

I'm just messing with you, you'll do fine. Besides, they'll be working you so hard, when the hell will you be outside anyway, right?

For me personally, my winter blues kicks in around February. If theres drama, like snow and ice and such, then it's fun. If it's just damn cold without the drama, then I'm bored. Blizzards are fun!

77Rumours77.... PLEASE watch yourself chasing! I'd love to see one too, but I'm too afraid of 'em. Just use caution.... Sorry if I sound like a mom, but I am a mom.....lol

See, in New Mexico there is no real winter weather until about February haha...so this will be interesting...

I do thing though that cold with no drama can get depressing, I'm going to try and be social and stick with/and get some new hobbies so as to prevent seasonal blues...I am actually looking forward to my first winter

hahaha... winter in New Mexico... what, does it get down to, like, 60 degrees or something?

Sorry, it's the smartass coming out in me!

I'll be curious to hear from you in February! A winter hobby, in my opinion, is an absolute must. That is the time of year you clean closets, paint rooms, do all the stuff to the inside of your home. At least that's what I try and do.
