I am so glad that my nine-year-old son has a bedroom of a nine-year old. By the way, the whole house is f"cking ugly, despite the jasper johns.

I see why LB spends all his time in a studio.

Dunno, Might be that the Europeans have very different taste from the US. The room with all the pictures on the wall reminds me of amsterdam would you believe.

I wonder have MTV Cribs ever knocked on their door ???

Oh yes there are some nice pics. but this isn't about designtaste. It's about living in a house that breathes "life" or that breathes "hotel room". And that Will-room is not a childs-room. Period.

Or on the road It seems odd to put pictures of your son's room in a design magazine IMHO

Does Will have a british flag in his bedroom? Well, I don't know how it's meant, but I take it as a nod to the 3 Macsters. Thank you very much!

Michele

I suspect the flag is a tribute to the family name, Buckingham, and his room is his palace.

So the kid's room has a "theme"? I would think a boy's room would be adorned with sports and pop stars.

Her site is verycool...great work webmaster!
Just took a look at the site... her portfolio consists entirely of their current house & their last one- pretty thin. Lindsey may very well need to buy/tear down/build another new house to help bolster it (hey, that means another cover story!)

Yes, Will's room would be an odd place to acknowledge FM's origin, but I will just fantasize a bit here.

(and another house) imagine the possibilities...they are endless. you're funny.

My guess is Lindsey and Will like their surroundings.
I know my nephew dug his new 'mature' room.

I would think living in a home where my every day life was compartmentalized to fit into "the museum quality unlived life look but life lives here look" to be unharmoniousily crappy. And that's Will's bedroom? Not one dirty sock, he's ten!?.

Did anyone notice the very Gypsyesk video Lindsey hat in the one photo?

I happen to like it.
Would I live in it?
Hmm. Probably not.
But I do think that it is wildly creative.
