Chris covered on Youtube - Page 2

I finally got around to watching young David's covers of Christine's songs and ... wow ... I agree with Aleuzzi. I think they're wonderful. Of course these aren't professional, polished recordings. These videos are just one young man with a musical instrument, no recording studio, no sound engineer, no production. I think he sings and plays really well and his singing is heartfelt. His interpretations really make you think about what the songs are about, something I generally don't do when I've heard a song a thousand times.

Another thing I like about this is that this is what Youtube is *supposed* to be for. People broadcasting themselves. The ultimate amateur hour.

Yes, back in the late 70's and early 80's but when I realized I'd never be as good as Lindsey, I stopped playing LOL.

Hmm..... Interesting. I mean, he's no Lindsey Buckingham (yet), but let's face it -- he sounds a lot better than *I* would have done (vocally or instrumentally)!!!

Seriously, though, with some more practice and a few lucky connections, maybe this kid will get a recording deal someday. He sounds like he knows his stuff, and he seems like he enjoys what he's doing....
