I'm beginning to wonder why....
I've a feeling it's time to try.... That's my favorite version, from the deluxe reissue(not? the last one they tried to sell us, but the previous one they tried to sell us...?) #whores https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5eCEdu_gQE And Lindsey singing the high Bbs!!! He couldn't hit those notes now with a hammer.

I have seen You Make Loving Fun, as well as other Fleetwood Mac songs, on "best yacht rock songs" lists when I google "yacht rock."

At the same time, Stevie's other contributions to the final studio "Oh Daddy" and "YMLF" are important, as are her backing vocals on "Honey Hi," "Never Forget," "Love in Store" and "Everywere." I think LB and CM just made judgment calls as to whether or not her voice sounded good in certain areas of certain songs. Later on, when LB left, Stevie's presence on Christine's songs was still carefully placed--she's only audible on parts of "Save Me" and "Heart of Stone." Bingo. Although, the resemblance is only evident on the electric (album) version. The iTunes acoustic version doesn't follow the bass-line patterning of YMLF. It relies instead on some really cool, percussive electric keyboards.
