I know I'm late to the party - again. As far as profanity, as long as nobody's saying anything like"...f*ck you, you're a f*cking asshole whore, you don't deserve to live, you f*cking piece of ****..." directly to someone in an aggressive or targeting manner - what's the big deal?

I'm with Sara - why get offended?

I've had my fair share of casual cursing (i think) on the Ledge. I agree with you though...using it that kind of manner is dismissive, and i think its a detriment to these forums.
