Oh what about the "New Smell" smell, how sweet is that?

Welcome to the Ultra Chic Model 1 Owners Club.

Hear are some of the things some people want a Model 1 more than:

1995 Don Perignon, Beluga caviar, Bugatti, White truffles, Diamonds, KEF Muron speakers, Gorgio Suits

NICE!!! Now, of course, you'll want to play every Lindsey Buckingham song he ever did...but, fight the urge, let your OWN creativity blast through.

Problem is, I HAVE one, but want ANOTHER two or three...with different finishes.

Basically, I want at least one of each type of guitar, bass & ukelele that Rick Turner makes.

The "white one" is next...YES, I'll have two Model 1's...

The white one I'm thinking about the piezo.

Not sure what kind of wood, just the standard that Rick picks for Model 1's. I didnt have him put the "T" on the headstock, but rather sign his name under the clear coat.

I've been playing it thru a Fender today...not bad! I am getting a Boogie as soon as I can, so i'll be recording some solos for you guys!

Keep those solo's coming: but WITHOUT the backingtrack! You're good enough to rip through them by yourself, and if you're not copying them perfectly: The better!! give us some demonoid solo's!

Congrats dude. You deserve one.

So how are you getting on with your new model 1. Is it a big change from your LP. ??

Yeah the feel is quite different. I was worried because I typically rest my pinky on the pickguard of my Les Paul, and being that the Model 1 doesnt have one...i thought it might pose a problem.

One thing I HAVE noticed is that its not set up very well. I mean, it doesnt "play like butter" like I would have expected. Bends are very difficult and what not. My epi les paul, to be honest, plays better. I emailed Rick about it...dont really trust any local shops to do set ups on it...

Well to be honest i had the same thoughts to begin with. I felt the guitar needed a bit of fine tuning before it sang sweetly. It playes really nice now and im completely used to it. ive had mine nearly two years now. But i do know where you are coming from.

Did you expect it to sound a bit more raw than what it does.?

The intonation is very dead on,and its very clean. I was surprised because the humbucker is boasted as being "very hot"...I think driven thru a Boogie with an overdrive pedal is really where you can push the envelope with it. The sustain, also, is amazing.
