Default OT: Bad Co. Off...

So, I thought my other choice for Fleetwood Mac singer in this era would have been Susana Hoffs (Bangles). With that in mind, here's a Bad Co. Off between Susana and Bekka, where either singer has to do a Bad Co. song and the best one wins.

Susana Hoffs: Feel Like Makin' Love

Bekka Bramlett: Movin' On

Thanks for the vid, never saw her do Movin' On before that was cool.

I'd have been up for Hoffs in FM. I think she'd have been at that time too, oh well. Still like Beks anyway.

Bekka f*cking rocks. I plan on seeing her this Wed, at B.B. Kings in Nashville!

That girl has got a FIRE in her. Do we know how Mick picked her for the Time lineup?

Well, Mick and Dennis Dunstan went to see Billy play with Delaney Bramlett. They stepped outside for a second when Bekka started singing, and somebody ran out to get them. Mick was blown away and almost immediately asked her if she wanted to join the Zoo. She did and recorded an album and toured with them. So when Stevie Nicks quit Fleetwood Mac, Bekka was the obvious choice.

Mick said that Bekka was like her mom and did not mince words. You wouldn't want to have either Bekka or Bonnie unload on you and that's what happened to Dave Mason regularly.

So there I was, the captain of a failing band with a volatile personnel situation and it just wasn't worth saving. I have to say that we did go out and put on a great show each night, regardless of the feuding and shouting matches. We did a lot of Dave's stuff in our set and a lot of R & B classics that Bekka was great at performing. But that really wasn't what the thousands of people who came out to see Fleetwood Mac were after. As fun as it was, it just wasn't right historically. In the end, everybody got a letter of disengagement [I'd like to read that letter], which probably wasn't much fun for them but I didn't know how else to pull the plug, so I just pulled it.

She may not mince words, but she was a complete sweetheart when I talked with her. Just as nice and down to Earth as could possibly be. Couldn't have been any nicer.

*crap(I just got to Nashville a couple hours ago), I just remembered that I forgot to bring "Time" with me. I was going to have her sign it...

Just ask Elvis Costello.

Again, why they bothered keeping him when the girls, and Richard Dashut, obviously didn't dig him is beyond a mystery. They had Billy back, and Bekka and Billy were where the chemistry was at during the shows. Dave simply didn't belong.
