that I'd like to share.

About a week before Debbie passed away she came home from work at the hospital and asked me to help her find a Barry Manilow song for her co-worker. I asked what song and Deb told me, I asked her who was needing the song, she told me the male nurse who she works with and is friends with...I didn't think nothing of it, found the song in question then I remembered that Debbie mentioned this male nurse to me before:

Me: "Isn't he the openly gay nurse?"

Debbie: "Yes...Why?"

Me: "I remember you said he was born deaf..."

Debbie: "He was born deaf..."

I'm sure most people in my area (The homophobic Bible Belt) would be 'offended' that I helped a gay person find a song for his partner, nope, Not me (Most Ledgies know I'm not like 'the usual person' in the area I live in)...I was tripped out why a totally deaf person would want a Barry Manilow track...Just shrugged my shoulders and laughed it off as 'business as usual' for my helping someone find music they love.

And for the record...The Barry Manilow CD I located the song upon belonged to my Mom - she was a big fan of his.

Amazing story man. I saw manilow in concert. He was so freakin' amazing. Wonderful night it was a 3 hour night of wimpy pop ballads......damned if we didn't love every single sappy second lol.

I'm thinking Dio kicks Ozzy's version in the balls.
