Eating turkey meatballs and a bag of veggies. And talking to my birds.

Aww, I couldn't check back on this thread—the power went out. Freakin' power goes out here like ten times a year.
I need pity coffee now, because I have more editing to do, and I would rather be watching the DVD of Weeds I got in the mail today. Poor, Poor, pitiful me!

I am a sound producer for multimedia. Sometimes I direct voice overs, sometimes I do sound effects mixing and foley, sometimes I find music, sometimes I edit. Mostly I edit, and the content is usually a big snooze; recently, I did some podcast interviews of some neuroscientists, and that was pretty interesting. Those scientist did a lot of gasping, "umm-ing" and stammering, though.

Sitting here at work waiting for my clothes to dry. Yes, folks. I managed to spill mineral oil all over myself this morning, so I now have on scrub pants & a windbreaker - very professional. I've already washed them once, of course the stain's still there, so there's little to no hope that the clothes will be saved, but I'm trying again.

Marth Stewart's website actually recommends using mineral oil to treat some stains, so I figured, hey, it'll come right out. Well I'm here to tell you that Martha Stewart is a lying whore.

Never mind that the pants were $2 at a garage sale & they're 4 years old! Never mind that I got the top off the clearance rack @ NY&Co. for $7.99 last week! They fit well & I looked good in them!

Dawn takes grease/oil stains out of clothes like a wonder.

I mean the product touts its ability to take grease out of your dishes - dabbing it on clothes does the same thing

I just got to work and am VERY dismayed that the morning guy has left me NOTHING new for this afternoons - so my afternoon will be spent scrambling for newsy items. Blah.

Hahaha! No, I just thought that since it was used to remove some stains, then if I added stuff to it, it may create some weird chemical reaction & not work. Lotta good that did me.

Oh ok - well that makes sense. Stupid Martha Stewart, making me all paranoid about my Dawn method.

Right now I'm preparting to go on the air - ten minutes and I'm up.

Waiting for the plumber -- he's an hour late.
