Some Pre-Sales started and 9am Eastern time!

Ok.... I haven't followed the pre-sale stuff much as I am not taking part but it seems some tickets are already on sale as of 9am Eastern time and not 9am Pacific time which was the time given to people by Knight.

I ould be mad if Philly were one of them, but it looks like it's still scheduled for PST as announced. I feel bad for anybody who's in one of the other cities if the mistaken announcement affects their chance for good seats. - Jake

Well... judging by some of the posts over on Micks board no-one seems to have gotten any really close seats....

I'm trying to buy Cleveland seats. Yes, the presale became available at 9:00 am but, I was only able to locate seats in rows W and Z. So I DID NOT BUY. I think the best 20% will be released at pacific time like the club said. So I'm waiting.

Why would they do that? That sounds odd to me if you have to use the password anyway. People are bound to panic and buy right away. I hope you get something better by waiting.

well, i was told 9am pacific time so i'm waiting...i don't think they've gone onsale yet to the fanclub members. in the long run, i'll be happy just to go...i can always go to a broker. i know it's more money but that's the breaks. i'll take my luck and wait till 12pm eastern time. also, i read somewhere that you shouldn't try to get tickets before the presale starts for some obscure reason....i remember reading something about that about a week ago....anyone remember hearing anything about this?

Yeah, Joe I read the same thing about buying them too early. There was like a big warning or something. The tix for Worcester did not go on sale yet. The Cleveland tix did and people have not gotten really good ones. I will wait until 12 and try the Cleveland tix.

Yes, I do. It said not to "jump the gun" and try to do it early or your password would be disqualified.

I tell ya, this almost makes me glad that Atlanta hasn't gone on sale yet. I guess this first round is bound to have alot of bugs that need to be worked out.

I'm just going to sit back and watch for now since I am having to sit this round out, but I sure hope the Fan Club comes through for everybody.

Pattie, i think that's the safest thing to do...i'd rather do that than jeopardize any chances of getting good seats!

OK I found the message about the presale:

It's first come-first served
so you want to come in when "the doors open" to get the best choices.
HOWEVER - you can get disqualified and lose your chance to participate in
the presale if you enter BEFORE THE OFFICIAL PRESALE BEGINS. So be sure to
read the time, adjust for your time zone, and don't jump the gun.

Why would ticketmaster even open up these venues for sale early anyway? This is bound to confuse alot of people - me included! The times over on ticketmaster have changed so many times - last night Philly changed from 9 am EST to 12pm EST, which complies with the fan club time. So what does that mean???

My password doesn't work - and ticketmaster said they don't have my name in their system (see my other thread) - so what do I do now??????

Did you sign-up for the fan club in the last 3 days? I know they changed the passwords for those people BUT they should have sent you an email if they changed it.

Where did you find this information??? I checked all the emails that I have received since I joined the fan club and there is nothing in them regarding the above info . . . so I can't imagine them disqualifying people who are confused by ticketmaster opening up sales early. I mean, this whole thing has been nothing but confusion!!!

Yes, I did join in the last three days, but all the emails I have received have the same username in them that I signed up with - no changes yet - so if that is the case, I guess I am waiting for a new password - this is really cutting it close!!!!! I don't need this kind of stress!!!!

My original username still works at the fanclub site for members only, so this makes me think there hasn't been a change to my username . . . .
