Default Lindsey on the radio

I called the Chicago radio station 93.1 XRT today to VERIFY the news that Lindsey is going to be interviewed. Turns out that he is calling in and people at the studio thought he was coming in. It will be around 5pm though. I asked the guy if he knew if I could send "possible" interview questions, he said he wasn't sure but gave me the # for the request line. I am going to call in a little later to talk to the dj. I want to talk with the dude who will be talking to Lindsey and he goes on the air at 4 - so in the meantime I was wondering if you guys have questions you are dying to know, I will make a list and when I call the station this afternoon I will hopefully give them to him.

Thanks!

Whats the # to the station? Just so us fellow Chicago listeners can call in as well?

Thanks much!

Default 93.1 phone number

The request line phone # is 773-777-8881

I received an email from the DJ saying that I can submit questions so if any of you have some, let me know.

How about a request to let him know that a lot of fans would love to hear the new material and rarer oldies in concert.

Yes,

please ask Lindsey if they are willing to showcase rarely performed songs like the Stones do on their current Licks tour each night! It would be so great to finally hear songs like Fireflies, Storms, Sara, Sisters Of The Moon and Frozen Love, Twisted, Save Me A Place, Walk A Thin Line again or even for the first time!!

It would be a great gesture from the band to us many true loyal fans out there, not just to play the same familiar hits in the same running order every night!! We all know those by now!!

It would be exciting for the band too in my opinion to play other great songs, after all they have so many lovely songs to choose from, and remember: no solo stuff and please no drum solos!!

Just a Big Mac Attack!!

Now that I've heard the complete "Mark and Brian" interview, I realize that they were just joking amongst themselves about the "eagle/hawk" noise in Peacekeeper, before LB got there...but I'd still like to know what instrument or voice is making that noise.

And ditto about the mixing up the song list for the diehard fans!!

Well, about the only interesting thing I heard in the interview was this quote from LB about the tour:

"We're trying to put together a middle section of the show which will be a little different than anything we've done before."

Hmm...wonder what that could be?

Well, since they've already done that w/ Big Love/Go Insane/Landslide, I'm hoping for something else. I'm not sure what though...maybe some Buckingham Nicks songs? That would be different!

Maybe it will be something like the Stones are doing on their current tour. They are taking a group of songs from various albums and featuring them on different nights of the tour. For instance, one night they'll play some rare things from Let it Bleed, and the next show they'll feature Exile on Main Street or Some Girls.

I think the new middle section should be the audience participation part. Here is how it would work - the audience could submit requests on slips of paper beforehand. Then, Mick (hey let's give him something to do instead of World Turning ( ) could draw the name of the song and then they play it!!!!!!!!! I think I need to wake up now
