Email Campaign to get the Mac on SNL!
Hi all!
After hearing that FM will be appearing on several NBC shows, I realized that it would be a *travesty* if they didn't appear (as promotion for the new album) on *SNL* - Saturday Night Live!!! It would be such an amazing show -- Musical Guests generally perform 2 songs - I would assume that "Peacekeeper" might be played, as well as another - a classic might be good for the long time fans tuning in - such as "Rhiannon" (one Lindsey song, one Stevie song)? FM has *never* appeared on SNL, which makes it all the more likely that this would be a ratings smash for NBC, and one heck of a show for all of us fans!!!!!! I have already sent an email request to NBC - if you would like to as well, here is the email address: SaturdayNightLive@nbc.com Tell them about the new album, out April 15th, and that it would be quite an event for them to consider! Please leave a note here if you do, so we can see what kind of a demand gets out there, for the Mac on SNL!!! ~Thanks much! Josh

Example for email writing campaign
Here's what I sent to NBC (in case anyone needs an example!):
To: SaturdayNightLive@nbc.com Subject: "Say You Will" have *Fleetwood Mac* as a Music Guest this season! Greetings! I appreciate your time and consideration with my request: I am a huge fan of Saturday Night Live, and my favorite band of all time, Fleetwood Mac, has a new album coming out April 15th, 2003, titled "Say You Will." I have heard that Fleetwood Mac will be making appearances on several NBC shows (including the Today Show on April 18th), and I am very much hoping that they might be invited on to SNL as a music guest. Fleetwood Mac has never appeared on SNL - I can assume that this would be a great honor for SNL /NBC, and that the rare event would draw quite large ratings, maybe even as an idea for the season finale? *Thank you* for your consideration on this topic, and for taking the time to hear my request! - Joshua Crisalli, Age 26, California Josh

It would be great to see the Mac as a whole on SNL since Stevie, Lindsey and Micks Zoo have all appeared. I'm definitely going to write. Hopefully all the requests will do some good!

I sent em a short, but sweet email. Hopefully, they will seriously consider this because dang, SNL needs some help!! Viewership will MOST DEF go up with the MAC on there!!
