I love them both equally.

Hmmm... how to rank 21st Century Mac?!

1. Say You Will - 10/10
2. In Your Dreams - 9/10
3. 24 Karat Gold - 9/10
4. Gift of Screws - 9/10
5. Under the Skin - 9/10
6. Seeds We Sow - 8.5/10
7. In the Meantime - 8/10
8. Trouble in Shangri La - 8/10

Where will B/M fall?

Should I rank EP for a round top 10?

You give In the Meantime a higher rating or I'll suspend you for a week!!

SYW is still growing on me. I just need to take some tracks off of it. It's over cooked.

SYW blows goats. It'll grow on you like cancer! I like about 5-6 songs, and the rest suck, and just don't sound like FM. BTM and Time are both better albums than SYW!

It's hilarious but I was thinking of starting a best mac related releases of the 21st century thread, but I was gonna wait until after BM was released. But for right now I'd go:

In Your Dreams 9/10
Gift of Screws 8.5/10
Say You Will 8.5/10
24 KG 8/10 (some of the highest highs tho just not nearly as consistent as above)
Seeds We Sow 7.5/10
Under the Skin 7/10
In the Meantime 6.5/10
Trouble in Shangri La 6/10
Extended Play 3/10 I really wish was never made. The three lindsey songs would've been released eventually and there's just no reason for Without Yous existence!

Also if the original gift of screws from around 99/00 was released as is that would be At the top of the list at 10/10. Also guaranteed that if they allowed Christine involvement and her best in the meantime tracks were included amongst the best of say you will and smile at you had ****img piano in it! Then say you will would've rivaled Tusk as one of the greatest masterpiece ever made at an 11/10, but my list had to reflect reality.

I'm surprised everyone is ranking Trouble in Shangri-La so low. It's one of my favorite albums. I think it's on par with Bella Donna and The Wild Heart.

IF it had succeeded in achieving Buck's aim: a new Mac album with Stevie, then it would have been a genius move and, in my opinion, a great little piece of art (whether integrated into a Mac album or left as a standalone). History, however, has proven you correct.

Yes..Yes...Yes. It's a shame that this isn't what happened. Christine was willing to record with the Mac for the 2003 album. The album would have been amazing with the best of ITM sprinkled in. If there was a Christine " hit" off the album so what... It didn't have to be played live in concert. The "studio"MAC and the "live" MAC have always been two different bands IMO.

I've not heard this. I remember them saying she emphatically did not want to participate. Stevie said if they thought there was a chance she would come back they would have waited for her. I don't remember them saying they were referring specifically to touring.
