Default Come back solemn stranger!

it's your last chance...

Who do you think the 'solemn stranger' was? Joe Walsh? Stevie sings of strangers twice on RAL.

If it was music-related, I bet it was Benmont Tench. He's a solemn guy, and he was being a "stranger" in 1985.

I hunk Les Dudek might have written the solemn stranger line. You might check the Jim Ladd interview from 1985.

Joe Walsh doesn't get called "solemn" too often, especially not at that point in his life. Who knows, though.

I'll listen to it again one of these days. I do remember her saying that Les would pull up in his Harley and moved into her house and they'd play "loud raucous rock and roll" and that she was only comfortable around guitar men. I took that to mean she was probably sleeping and coking with him for a bit, even though I think he was with Cher at the time.
