Thumbs up 2 new songtitles on 2003 album!

Hey Macaroni's out there,

The November issue of Mojo Magazine has April 2003 listed for the release of the new album, untitled as yet however. They have 2 titles of songs included on the album: Stevie's "Say You Will" and Lindsey's "Come" !!! The music is a harder edged rock sound or something along that line.

Anyway I wonder if anyone knows more about "Say You Will"?

It's definitely great to read that "Come" will be included, this should be a real epic when performed live, with Stevie adding vocals to the line "Think of me sweet darlin' everytime sleep don't come.." This will sound amazing with their onstage magic and drama going back and forth!!

Greetings,

Marcel.

Thumbs up COOOOLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the best news I've heard since my local supermarket announced 3 tubs of Cookies 'n Cream for the price of 1 !!!!!!!

"Come" is one of my fav. LB songs ever, and I can hardly wait to hear how the "proper" (i.e. full on McVie bass, Fleetwood drums, Nicks vocals, rather than GOS demo) version sounds!

If they do it right live, it will be the highlight of the entire show.
I get the feeling that my prayers have been answered and that "Come" will indeed be released as their first single.....The words "...we're gonna blow everyone away with this album....." come to mind.

Thanks a million for this info. Buckmacnicks, and btw...it's "think of me sweet darlin', everytime YOU don't come"...!!

(yes, that IS how he means it.)

This is awesome news! I can't wait to hear what Say You Will sounds like.. and looking forward to hearing Come again. It would totally rock if they did it at the concerts!

Well, that might just be the sort of thing that gives the song "legs" on the pop radio playlists. It certainly has other things to carry it: a great tune, an edge, some raunchy guitar and just a lot of power.

And it would sure let people know that FM is taking some chances and not just sitting on its reputation.

By the way Seteca, I wish MY supermarket would have a cookies n' cream special.

Default "Come" intro too quiet?

One more thing . . .

On my MP3 version of "Come", the intro is way too quiet. At regular volume, I can hardly hear it. For radio play, it would have to be much louder. I mean, driving in your car you for sure wouldn't hear it.

This is probably a silly thing to bring up, but it bugs me whenever I hear the song. I'm sure it's because it's just a demo.

Thumbs up That's cool...

seems Lindsey just kinda knew that "Come" would be a great song to play in concert...Just hope "Come", If played in concert, Doesnt follow "I'm So Afraid" in the set...That could lead to some deafness of a few folks...lol..."Shredding Away" Brian J.

Kind of fascinating isn't it.....two songs ( "come" and "thrown down") that the Ledgies have been longing to hear on this new album and VOILA, there they are...hmmmm...just think, if they called the album "Full circle" or whatever other names wev'e thought of, makes you wonder if someone out there is really taking an interest in our thoughts and ideas.

Well, I don't know about that, but I do think the lyrics that are on the VBoFM Enhanced Disk were gleaned from the Penguin, because they have the same mistakes.

Kinda like in school, when B copies off A, C copies off B...etc etc etc....then the entire class ends up with A's mistakes, and you think the teacher is Sherlock Holmes when he/she says "you all copied off A didn't you!!"

p.s. if they did do that, they should have given The Penguin credit in the album notes..hell, they should give The Penguin credit anyway!!!
