I saw on Instagram that some band, I have no idea who though, played Hold Me, I’m glad that song is finally getting the appreciation it deserves. I was unable to watch the show. What songs did Fleetwood Mac play?

I'm actually a little dismayed at the lack of excitement for this show on the board! Our band is being honoured by some pretty great acts and people are more interested in talking about the black ledge for **** sake.

I'm hoping The Zac Brown Band preform The Chain and that Keith Urban rips into Eyes Of The World.
I didn't realize what a big event it was until tonight!

The more I watch the more I realize this was a BIG night. I thought it as kind of a joke award.

Well none of them are really smiling but Lindsey could crack a mirror. He must hate smiling.

Miley Cyrus and Lorde were horrible.
Screaming and dancing that I'll never be
able to get out of my head.

God help us. Lorde single-handedly DESTROYED "Silver Springs". Just as I was recovering from Courtney Love's exorcism of this beautiful tune, Lorde comes along and puts the nail in the coffin. Good grief! There's no justice!

I think Miley was just emotional but Lorde... wow, that was bad. I don't think she "gets" the song.

Loved Alison Krauss, though, and the clips of the others ranged from ok to very good except for the Leto arrangement.

This has turned out to be rather a bigger thing than I expected. But then I'm on the other side of the Atlantic, so rather out of it as far as Mac activity is concerned these days...

I don't have too much of a problem with Lorde's performance - she's very young and at least she threw herself into it. It also seemed to be pitched very low for her though.

Harry Styles seemed to be enjoying himself, although I couldn't hear him at all. Quite liked Miley Cyrus - the fiddle worked well...

Anyone know how many songs FM actually played?

Apologies if this has been discussed earlier but this award is to honor a recording artist who has made important contributions to the world of music and demonstrated extraordinary humanitarian and philanthropic efforts. per the Musicares website.

It pains me to say that I'm not particularly aware of extraordinary humanitarian and philanthropic efforts. by the Mac. Maybe I'm out of the loop- I know Stevie has her work with the US armed forces, and royalties from Beautiful Child go to UNICEF, and Mick seems to get involved with good causes out in Hawaii, but other than that I'm not aware of that much that they've done. Maybe it's all under the radar. If anyone would care to enlighten me, please do. Perhaps they should have been given an award for increasing exports from Bolivia.

On a side note, I was pleased to see John looking much better and wearing an Arsenal scarf, not that I'm a Gooner myself.
